We are currently accepting submissions for the 7th Annual Philly Sketchfest, running November 10-15, 2014 at Figment Theater.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions are open to all types of sketch acts of any size, including live performance and video. Submissions from other forms of live entertainment such as improv or standup will not be accepted.

Improv acts should consider submitting to the Philadelphia Improv Festival, while standups can learn more about promoting their shows through the City Spotlight.

Final Submission Deadline:
Sunday, August 17th Sunday, August 24th, 11:59PM EDT

Groups will receive notification on their acceptance status on or before September 4th. Groups who fail to confirm by September 30th will forfeit their performance slot.

Once groups have been confirmed, producers will work with each act to ascertain individual tech needs and schedule tech rehearsals.


All submissions will be received and processed digitally via our online form.

The form requires general information about the name of your group, primary contact person, individual performer names, technical requirements and other information used to assess your application. In addition to this information, you should also have ready:

Video: A link to streaming video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc). Full length performances are recommended, but at minimum clips should be at least ten minutes in length and representative of the style of show you'd perform at the festival.

Photo: We will also need a production photo suitable for both web and press. Images should be 300 dpi or better, in JPEG, GIF or PNG format. Text-free images are preferred.

Submission Fee: A $30 non-refundable fee will be assessed at the time of your submission. Once you complete the form, you will be directed to a page where you can use EFT or credit card via Paypal.
